Monkey Gland Cocktail

I’m not sure how I’m supposed to take a cocktail named the Monkey Gland Cocktail seriously.
We’ve got a lot of gin and fresh orange juice along with a little bit of grenadine (whatever) and a little bit of absinthe (curious).
Mixed bag on this one. My partner in crime thought this was vile, but I found it strange and full of intrigue. With a teaspoon of $110/bottle absinthe and fresh-squeezed orange juice, I got all sorts of crazy passion fruit and tropical fruit flavors that didn’t really belong.
It’s not a drink I want to consume regularly, but it was far more interesting than I expected.
