With a name like The Hanky Panky I’m almost embarrassed to drink this drink. Almost.

Hanky Panky Ingredients

This drink is, materially, gin plus sweet vermouth, with a dash of Fernet and some expressed orange peel. With that little quantity of Fernet, one might imagine there would be little impact. They would be wrong. A little Fernet goes a long way!

Hanky Panky finished

There’s a surprisingly earthy richness to this cocktail. Contemplative like a Scotch, but approachable for those that don’t like Scotch. This is a nice drink for a warm evening by the fire.
