The Millionaire Ingredients

These ingredients sure don’t make me feel like a millionaire. Finding sloe gin of quality is a bit of a hassle. On the upside, there’s probably an unused bottle at your local bar that’s been there since before you were born.

At the moment, Plymouth and Bitter Truth both make “high end” sloe gin. I elected to go the Plymouth route with this particular drink.

The Millionaire Cocktail

The end result is a good mix of sour and sweet with a little bit of flavor otherwise. At the end of the day it’s not complex enough to be particularly interesting to me, but it’s not bad. I can’t imagine how the original (far sweeter) version would have been appealing.
