I wanted to love this cocktail. Bourbon, gobs of bitters. It’s like a Sawyer highball, but more insane. Should be great!


Just didn’t work, though. It really tasted like a seriously bittered-up brown liquor with … Champagne in it. The drink would have been unquestionably better without the bubbly, but if one had to top it up I think straight soda would have been the answer. This was a giant flop.
